Before Big Bang is accepted there are enough observational evidences, calculations and theoretical models.
Not like saying earth is flat and cling on to it, ignoring abundance of evidence otherwise; eventually one night a demigod nodding his head and everyone else waking to the reality.
That said, there is no political correctness demanded here to “respect” big bang. You are welcome to skepticism and disrespect!
I was commenting on how religions and religious people try to interpret their faith as scintific. Like some Christians consider ‘Let there be light’ (the first thing god created, the first words he spoke in Bible) as being a reference to the Big Bang.
Simlar ‘claims’ of scientific references exist. Such theories are interesting and gain respect among many.


If the turtles warring with the space god is interpreted as the Big Bang. Everyone would respect it.
