• No w.bloggar for sometime

    I am reverting back to the old ways (logging into my MT site and editing my entries), abandoning w.bloggar. (I reedited the last entry for clarity). There are two reasons. (1) It spoils my layout (2) There is problem in RSS syndication (UTF-8 characters are not syndicated properly).

    I am leaving two entries (insignificant) here as posted through w.bloggar for my friends to try syndication and giving me opinion. (Hope they do. Selvaraj/Kumaraguru, ?)

    w.bloggar is a neat tool (the Unicode version). But right now I do not have time to play with it. I have taken MT localization as my priority. Once we have this in Tamil, I will try to make w.bloggar (or any other tool working)

      Venkat, you were right. There were some issues with your new format regarding RSS syndication. It is the same problem with bytes being read one by one instead of in the utf-8 format, that I have faced before with other blogsites (blogger). I may have some workaround for that, but have not had the time to fully implement it yet.

      yes..there were problems, but I felt you were more comfortable in doing this way. :-)

      I know you are not doing this for awards but a recognition like this will expand your audience ;-)

      Selvaraj, Kumaraguru – thanks for reiterating my observations. Until it is solved, I will keep w.bloggar away (it is very useful tool).

      Kumaraguru; I do not know anything about this awards. Will go to the site and have a look. In any case, I am grateful for placing me in good opinion.

      - வெங்கட், wordpadஇல் எ-கலப்பை யூனிகோட் தமிழில் எழுத முடிகிறதே. இன்னும் வெட்டி ஒட்டும் வேலை இருக்கும். ஆனால் சுவடி, பொங்குதமிழ் இல்லாமல் பதிய முடியும். நீங்கள் முயற்சி செய்து பாருங்கள். இல்லை, இதில் ஏதேனும் குறைகள் காண்கின்றீர்களா ?

      ஆமாம், நோட்பேட், எ-கலப்பை வைத்துக்கொண்டு, நேரடியாக உள்ளிட முடியும். அது என்னமோ, சுவடி பழகிப்போய்விட்டது. மேலும் நான் என்னுடைய கணினியில் எழுதும் எல்லாவற்றையும் தஸ்கியில் சேமித்து வைத்திருக்கிறேன்.

      w.bloggar மூலம் நேரடியாக யுனிக்கோடில் அடிக்க முடியும். ஆனால் அதை உள்ளிடும்போதுதான் பிரச்சினை, அதை நேரடியாக படிக்க முடியாது. என்றாலும் அது ஒரு நல்ல சிறிய html editor.
