Currently in bloom in my living room.

I picked up this bulb in an end-of-the-season sale in Home Depot. It took about 5 weeks to see the first growth . Now in 8th week, one of its stalk in in full bloom. Amazing color and size. It is about 18 cm across.

Amaryllis are native to South America. This is a hybrid known as Amaryllis Cocktail
